Society of International Chinese in Educational Technology (SICET) will organize its fifth International Conference of Educational Innovation through Technology (EITT2016) to provide a forum for researchers and teachers who study technology and education to publish research findings and exchange experiences in related topics.
The conference will be held on September 22-24, 2016 in Tainan, Taiwan. You are invited to present at EITT2016 to share your findings with your peers, the professional practitioners and researches from various disciplines around the world. The first EITT conference was successfully held in Beijing, China during August 10-12, 2012. The second EITT took place in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA during November 4-6, 2013. The third was held in Brisbane, Australia during Oct. 27-30, 2014, and the forth was held in Wuhan, China during Oct. 16-18, 2015.
Founded in 2003, the SICET is a non-political, and non-profit academic organization. The mission of SICET is to establish and strengthen international academic connections, exchanges, research, and studies in educational technology for teaching and learning, and to promote the application of educational technology in education.
The conference proceedings will be published by Conference Publishing Services (CPS), with best papers recommended for publication in special issues of international journals. (All articles in the EITT2014 and EITT2015 proceedings have been successfully indexed in EI (Compendex). Likewise, the organizer of this year conference will also cooperate with Conference Publishing Services (CPS) to publish the EITT2016 proceedings. All files of the conference proceedings will be submitted to Xplore and, upon acceptance, submitted for indexing in EI (Compendex).)

Manuscript Format of Papers:
Do not exceed 6 single-space double column, 8.5 x 11-inch pages (including figures, tables and references) in 11 point Times Roman or similar font. Number each page. Include an abstract, five to ten keywords, the technical area(s) most relevant to your paper, and the corresponding author's e-mail address. Submissions should represent original, substantive research results. We will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review for or has already been published (or accepted) for publication in another conference or journal.
Each paper submitted to EITT2016 will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition and should be prepared according to the IEEE proceedings template (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html). It must be 3-6 pages in length, including a 200-word abstract, references and tables/figures. Authors should submit their manuscripts in PDF format to EITT2016 on EasyChair (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=eitt2016) by logging in with their EasyChair username and password (non-members may signup for an account).

Call For Workshop/Tutorial Proposals:
EITT2016 invites the Workshop/Tutorial Proposals to be submitted and held in conjunction with the conference for sharing the ideas and research in the field of Educational Innovation through Technology.
Description of Workshop:
The purpose of the workshops is to provide participants with a less formal setting to exchange intellectual ideas and to share practical experiences on focused topics or emerging sub-areas in Educational Innovation through Technology.
The organizers of approved workshops are expected to define the workshop's focus, gather, and review the submissions, and decide upon final program content. Once the workshop proposals are approved, the workshop organizers may proceed to issue calls for papers.
All papers submitted to workshops will go through the review process using the main-conference submission system (easychair). The paper's language of the workshop can be English or Chinese because all accepted papers in the workshops will Not be included in the IEEE digital library, but they will appear in one volume of workshop proceedings
A workshop proposal should not exceed 3 pages and should contain the following information (English or Chinese is acceptable):

The puporse of the Tutorial is to involve the formal presentation of the principles, such as the tools and methods, behind an established research area.
